Correcting material inaccuracies
PlayersTime aims to publish accurate and useful information, but casino terms, licences, payment methods, ownership and regulatory requirements can change, and mistakes can occur. When we receive a credible correction request or identify a substantive factual error ourselves, we investigate the issue and update the content where the evidence supports a change.
How to Request a Correction
Send correction requests to info@playerstime.com or use our Contact page. To help us review the issue efficiently, please include:
- the URL of the relevant PlayersTime page;
- the exact statement or data point you believe is inaccurate;
- the correction you are requesting and why;
- supporting evidence, preferably from an official or authoritative source.
How We Review Correction Requests
We examine the disputed statement, the sources used when it was published and any new evidence supplied. Where appropriate, we may consult the writer or editor, check an official register or operator document, repeat a calculation, review our testing records or ask the person or company requesting the correction for additional information.
After reviewing the available evidence, we may:
- correct inaccurate information;
- update outdated information;
- clarify wording that could be misunderstood;
- add a missing source, date or limitation;
- add a correction or update note where appropriate;
- leave the content unchanged when the evidence supports it.
Disagreement Does Not Automatically Require Removal
A correction request does not guarantee that content will be changed or removed merely because a casino operator, player or other person disagrees with our assessment. Reviews and complaint decisions may contain editorial judgments based on the available evidence. We will correct factual errors, but we will not remove legitimate criticism solely because it is commercially inconvenient or unfavourable.
Updates and Corrections
A routine update reflects information that changed after publication, while a correction addresses information that was materially inaccurate or misleading when published. Minor spelling, formatting or style changes may be made without a correction note. When an error materially affects the meaning, rating or conclusion of a page, we may add a visible explanation of the change.
